Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month Haggin Oaks is supporting a great cause.  In an effort to create awareness and a little bit of funds for the Susan G Komen Foundation- and raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October)- we are giving away a few hundred of these fun reusable waxed fabric pink ribbon shopping bags to some of our best customers. Come in and pick up your complimentary bag while supplies last. They’re great for using at the grocery store or to transport their favorite golf shoes and clothes from home to the course and back.

Since its inception in 1982, Komen has invested nearly $2 billion for breast cancer research, education, advocacy, health services and social support programs in the U.S., and through partnerships in more than 50 countries. Today, Komen has more than 100,000 volunteers working in a network of 124 affiliates worldwide.

Help us raise awareness.  We hope to see you soon.

IRONMAN... Raising awareness for organ transplants. Help save lives!

A friend of mine is competing in a contest that will give him the opportunity to compete in the IRONMAN in Kona this year.  Mackenzie is not just doing this for personal satisfaction, he is also doing this to raise awareness about organ transplants.  Please check out his video and VOTE for him.  There are only a few days left in the competition... Not only will you be helping Mackenzie, you will also be helping spread the word that could end up saving lives!

Click on this link to go directly to his page and vote.  http://bit.ly/NOvJyI Thanks for VOTING!  ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
