Cobra Announces New AMP CELL PRO Irons

Here are the New Amp Cell Pro Irons that Cobra Puma Golf is scheduled to launch at the PGA Merchandise Show in January.  The actual release date is scheduled for April 1, 2013.  These are the same irons that Rickie Fowler and Ian Poulter are going to have in the bag next year.  For those who want a traditional look but some added forgiveness the Pro Combo option would be a great fit.  You also can get the full Muscle Back iron set through Cobra custom.

 

Cobra Puma has a completely new line up of AMP CELL products coming this Spring that you will be able to get at the Haggin Oaks Super Shop.  Stay tuned for pictures and information in the coming weeks.  It's going to be a big year for Cobra Puma Golf!!

Haggin Oaks Golf Expo... Largest Demo Days You Have Ever Been To...

This weekend is the biggest golf weekend of the year at Haggin Oaks.  From April 27-29 Haggin Oaks will be hosting the largest demo days in the country.  Other than the PGA Merchandise Show, there is nothing else like this around.  All the major golf manufacturers will be in attendance and will be providing free club demos on the driving range from 9-5 each day.  

Get fit by the Tour vans on the back of the driving range and even have your clubs built on the spot.  To book a club fitting call the Haggin Oaks Appointment Office at 916.808.2531.  Fittings are by Appointment only all weekend and only $25.  There are so many fun events that will be happening all weekend, some of which are listed below.  Click here to check out all the information about the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo.  If you have never been to the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo and are a huge golf fan, you have to come by and check us out.  It is a very busy weekend and we expect thousands of people in attendance.  Don't miss Golf Expo. New Cobra Clubs are Here!! ORANGE OUT!!

 

The New Cobra AMP line up of clubs are here.  We received them last week but the official release date was today.  So far the entire line of Cobra products have been getting great reviews and a lot of positive feedback.  Come see me in the Haggin Oaks Super Shop and I would be happy to help you find the one that is best for you.  The Cobra Women line up is also a big hit!  They are still one of the easiest clubs to hit with a new style and bright color!  To purchase the new COBRA AMP clubs on line CLICK HERE to go to our Morton Golf Sales Website. 

The AMP Driver, which is being played on the PGA Tour by Rickie Fowler, is one of the most forgiving and longest drivers out with the new Dual Roll Design and E9 Face Technology.  In our club fittings and testing on Trackman we have seen improved distance, straighter shots and optimal numbers for launch and spin characteristics.  You have to get one of these!

The AMP Hybrid has a smaller deeper club head for those that want to produce a lower ball flight and have the shot making ability with a longer club.

Both the AMP Driver and Hybrid are adjustable clubs which allow you to fine tune it to your swing and to get you your ideal ball flight.  GET AMPed!! GO ORANGE!!

Cobra also has a new AMP iron.  We have them to demo in both graphite and steel.  These irons provide great distance and forgiveness with a traditional iron look.  Right now they are one of the longest irons on the market.  At a reasonable price, these irons give you great value for an awesome iron.  ORANGE OUT!

Two other new lines for Cobra this year and the Baffler T-Rail Woods and Hybrids, as well as the latest version of the ZL Encore.  The Baffler line up has a shallow face design with tungsten soil weights which make the ball jump off the face with a higher trajectory.  If you need help hitting the ball longer and higher with your fairway woods and hybrids these should do the trick.

The ZL Encore is a new composite driver.  This is another driver that COBRA has introduced that is producing some of the best results from our club fittings.  The composite head allows COBRA to strategically position weight to produce a nice draw and give you the ultimate forgiveness on the off center shots.  I will have one of these in my bag this year.  It's my favorite in the shop.

A Big Year for Cobra Puma Golf

2012 is going to be a BIG year for the Cobra Puma Golf Company.  From the sneak previews that I have seen, the line up of clubs and clothing are going to be excellent.  Last year Puma bought the rights to Cobra Golf and since then they have been developing a product line that is more appealing to the next generation of golfers.  With new desings, colors, and technology most retailers are already commenting that Cobra Puma has developed a brand that will not only perform well but also get you geared up for golf from head to toe. 

Pictured above are the new LONG TOM Driver and the ZL Encore.  These will be two of the hottest drivers next year.  The LONG TOM has a 48" Blackbird shaft.  There is no question that you will pick up distance, my only concern is will it stay in the fairway.  I have hit it and I picked up a solid 20 yards of carry.  The ZL Encore will have the E9 face technology which will allow for better off center shots.  It will be offered in a white or black finish.  Their new irons (no pictures or detail available to the public yet) have been tested and results are showing that they are possibly going to be the longest irons on the market.  For more information on the new clubs, check out the Cobra website. I have been a Callaway staff member for a few years now. The clubs have been great and everyone at Callaway has been a pleasure to work with.  But in 2012 I will be switching to the Cobra Puma team.
